Do we take insurance?
While we don’t accept insurance directly, we do provide you with what is called a superbill which has all the codes required for reimbursement by your insurance company.
We strongly encourage you to send the superbill to your insurance. While many of our patients do get reimbursement - we can not guarantee payment on their behalf.
Not accepting insurance allows us to treat you 1:1 for a full hour in a way that is dictated by your and your individual symptoms as opposed to your care being dictated by insurance tape and limitations.
Because your care is more individualized and we get the full hour with you - you get better education, treatment sessions, and clear long term plan on your injury. Our patients typically require less sessions compared to the traditional physical therapy model - saving you time and money overall!
Example case: You get diagnosed with rotator cuff tendinopathy. Traditional PT model “2x a week for 8 weeks” = 16 sessions x $50 copay + bill from insurance = $800 (and could be closer to $1,600 if you have not met your deductible). The quality of treatment is most likely average at best (We know because we have worked in insurance based clinics the past 10 years)
We see patients 1x every 1-2 weeks with crystal clear instructions on what to do in between. Average treatment is 6 session x $199 = $1,200 and can guarantee you leave feeling empowered and satisfied.
